Speed Dating for Learning Partnerships

It’s always better to learn together, especially when studying online. The first speed dating for learning partnerships will take place on 22 April 2021. In this online meeting, students can find a study buddy, contactlessly and without obligations.

The Corona pandemic and the ongoing lockdown are challenging for all of us! Social isolation in particular is stressful for most people and can lead to emotional crises, a lack of structure and a slump of performance. This is also, and maybe especially, the case in everyday digital study life.

That's why our psychosocial counselling service has a new offer for all Leipzig students. We want to give you the opportunity to exchange information with other students about everyday study life, learning projects, etc. With a study buddy, you can establish study times together, keep a common structure or even take a study break in the form of a walk.

During an online meeting (1-2 hours), students who are tired of isolation and want to motivate each other are put in contact with each other. In several rounds, the pairs can share their learning needs. At the end, the participants can decide with whom they would like to form a learning partnership. However, there are no strings attached. Each person is free to decide whether the learning partnership can work or not.

The first date for matching will take place on Thursday, 22 April 2021 between 1.00  and 5.00 p.m. If you are interested, please register by 19 April 2021 at orga-psb@studentenwerk-leipzig.de.
