Social Counselling for International Students at the HGB

A new Counselling Service starts on 16 February. The cooperation with the Academy for Transcultural Exchange will thus be expanded.

A special counselling service for international students at the Leipzig Academy of Fine Arts (HGB) will be offered by the social counselling of Studentenwerk Leipzig from 16 February 2022. The cooperation for participants of the Academy for Transcultural Exchange (AtA), which began in 2018, will thus be renewed and expanded. 

The social counselling answers questions ranging from orientation at the place of study to the topics of residence and financing. International HGB students such as AtA participants and prospective HGB students from abroad can take advantage of this special counselling service on social, personal and economic issues. The offer includes information events, open telephone consultation hours and individual counselling. Individual counselling is free of charge and takes place in a protected setting. It can be provided in English, French or German. Anonymous counselling is also possible. Counselling with translation is possible on request.
