After several months of remodeling works, Studentenwerk Leipzig offers a broader range of various snacks and premium quality coffee drinks at the "Cafeteria im Musikviertel" with new ambiance. The remodeling phase was preceded by a survey among students and university employees on location, in which they expressed the wish for a more varied and diverse menu. In addition to the standard offer of sandwiches, salads, vegan cake, overnight oats, and smoothies, there will different snacks on offer every day, like wraps, focaccia sandwiches, pulled pork, tapas, soups, burgers, quiches and similar as well as hot breakfast snacks in the morning.

The cafeteria furthermore offers various special coffee drinks from the portafilter coffee machine, on request with soymilk. Alternatively, two self-service coffee machines are available, where you can pay with your student restaurant card or coins. In addition, cold drinks like juices, soymilk products, and lemonades from local producers are on offer.
