Photo Exhibition “Impressionen”

dsc01858-01

Photo exhibition by student Laura Sophie Päßler in May and June at the Studentenwerk Leipzig.

Laura Sophie Päßler, a student at Universität Leipzig, loves taking pictures with her camera since she was 10 years old. The photographs she has chosen for her exhibition "Impressionen" are mainly landscape pictures that try to capture a special atmosphere.

With the pictures, the student wants to encourage women in particular to travel alone if they have the opportunity. She recommends participating in the Erasmus programme or taking advantage of Interrail offers. After the Corona restrictions, the photos are intended to inspire all viewers with the desire to travel.

The photographs by Laura Sophie Päßler can be seen in May and June in the corridors of the 1st and 2nd floors of the Studentenwerk Leipzig (Goethestr. 6).

Interested in having your own photo exhibition?

Students who would like to present their photographs in an exhibition can apply to the Studentenwerk. The subject can be chosen freely. 24 frames of 59.4 x 84 cm each can be used. The exhibition spaces are located in the corridors of the 1st and 2nd floors in Goethestraße 6, and the photographs are usually shown for two months.

The exhibitions are financed with funds from the Studentenwerk's cultural promotion programme.

It is important that the student photographers are enrolled at one of the eight universities in the area covered by the Studentenwerk Leipzig during the exhibition period.
