New bicycle repair station at HTWK

A new bicycle repair station at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK) has opened – free service for spontaneous repair works without going to a repair shop!

An new bicycle repair station at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK) has opened. The station provides numerous tools and enables spontaneous, short reparatures you do not need to go to a bicycle repair shop for. 

The bicycle service point contains an air pump for various types of tyres as well as items for regulating the saddle height, to change tyres or to tighten loose screws. 

Students of all Leipzig colleges can make use of the repair station. It is located at the corner Gustav-Freytag-Straße / Karl-Liebknecht-Straße between Lipsius-Bau and the HTWK university library. 

The station is the product of a cooperation with the StuRa (student council) of HTWK and the Studentenwerk. It has been organised by the StuRa of HTWK and financed by means of the Studentenwerk's Mobility Fund, in order to promote sustainable mobility among students.
