Due to urgent construction work by Studentenwerk Leipzig and Leipzig University, there will be restrictions to operations at the Mensa am Park from 5 February until the end of March 2026.
The key information
- 5–6 February 2026: Mensa am Park, Cafeteria, and Bistro will be completely closed
- 7 February 2026: Mensa am Park will remain closed; as an alternative, Mensa Peterssteinweg will be open that Saturday
- 9 February to the end of March 2026:
- Mensa am Park will operate with restrictions
- access to the Mensa is only possible via the main entrance near the cash registers
- the upper floor of the Mensa cannot be used
- access to the Cafeteria is only via the entrance at Kurt-Masur-Platz (Moritzbastei)

As an alternative, you are welcome to use Mensa Peterssteinweg, Mensa am Medizincampus, or Mensa Academica during this period.
