Mensaria am Botanischen Garten

At a glance

The bright, green oasis of our Mensaria is a popular meeting place for students from the surrounding faculties as well as the residents of the nearby student hall of residence.

The former Cafeteria Philipp-Rosenthal-Straße was extensively renovated and since from now on fresh food is prepared directly on site, it is receiving a new name: Mensaria am Botanischen Garten. In the upstairs area, the serving counters offer nutritious, healthy and balanced meals as well as salads, desserts and smoothies.

The coffee counter is situated in the downstairs area, where cold and hot drinks as well as cakes and sandwiches, also to take away, are available. Upstairs there is room for 20 guests, while the first floor seats about 80 people with two small lounge areas in the pleasant and bright ambience of an orangery.
