The new educational video shows how it’s done right.
Germans are the world champions of waste separation. And in order to understand and implement the small nuances of correct waste separation, Studentenwerk Leipzig produced an educational video in collaboration with the Leipziger Stadtreinigung (the city’s cleaning service).
This video was made to show our student hall residents what the different colored waste containers are good for and what belongs where. Especially international students who are often not familiar with other waste separation systems may find this useful. In case of questions: Since 2012 we have environmental tutors for our student halls of residence who give advice on how to live environmentally friendly and save energy in our halls.
