In an online lecture series, there are tips on the topic of debt-free financing of your studies provided by a debt counselor.
In the first part of our informational event series, Franziska Gießler (Debt Counselor at KEL) proactively discusses financial management. Specifically, we address the handling of open invoices, reminders, and more, providing suggestions on how to avoid debt or free oneself from existing debt. We will also highlight general saving opportunities and pitfalls of indebtedness. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for open questions and general discussion.

In the second part of our informational event series, Franziska Gießler (Debt Counselor at KEL) addresses financial management from a preventive and intervention perspective. Specifically, we discuss the taking out of (educational) loans under current conditions, including topics such as overdrafts and the protection against attachment ("Pfändungsschutzkonto" or P-Konto). We provide suggestions on how to avoid debt or free oneself from existing debt. Additionally, we will highlight general saving opportunities and pitfalls of indebtedness. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for open questions and general discussion.
