To make sure that students and guests of our Mensas don't have to miss out on the delicious dishes we usually offer on site, we're now once again providing you with regular recipes to cook at home.
In line with the Veganuary, today we're sharing the recipe for a popular vegan chilli:
Chilli con Tofu
Ingredients for 4 persons

500 g tomatoes
200 g peppers
200 g onions
2 cloves of garlic
1 chilli pepper
100 ml sesame oil
300 g tofu
200 ml vegetable stock
1 tin of kidney beans
1 tin of corn
1 packet tomato sauce
Spices
Pepper
Salt
Cumin
Curry powder
Preparation

Mix the tofu with the garlic, chilli pepper and salt in a bowl.
Sweat the chopped onion and garlic clove with the tomatoes and pepper in vegetable oil, add the tofu mixture and fry.
Then put to one side.
Pour the ingredients for the sauce (tomato sauce, vegetable stock) into a pot and boil down over medium heat.
Add the tofu, beans and corn and simmer briefly.
Add the seasoning according to taste.
