The following facilities are open:

What should you keep in mind when you want to visit our Mensas/Cafeterias? We have once again compiled the rules of conduct here.

  • Please pay only with your Mensacard/Student card - as NO cash payments are  possible! Please make sure in advance that you have enough credit on your card. TIPP: Use AutoLoad!
  • If you have symptoms of a cold, please do not go to the Mensa/Cafeteria.
  • Please make sure to wash or disinfect your hands at the entrance before visiting the Mensa/Cafeteria.
  • Please follow the cough and sneeze etiquette.
  • When entering and leaving the Mensa/Cafeteria (e.g. at the dishes return), please wear a mouth-nose cover.
  • Please keep a distance of 1.5 meters to each other at all times - both in the serving area and in the dining hall. There are markings on the floor for your orientation.
  • In the self-checkout counters, please only touch what you actually intend to take.
  • Please only use the designated tables and chairs for eating, do not change the seating arrangements.
  • Stay in the Mensa/Cafeteria only as long as necessary.

The already known hygiene measures and safety regulations still apply in our facilities. We would like to ask you to act in solidarity and follow these rules in order to protect yourself, other guests and our employees. Otherwise, we are facing closures of our facilities.

  • Please expect for your visit to take a little more time than usually, as we only allow a certain number of guests to enter the facility at once and the waiting time may be longer due to the distance rules.

The Mensas and Cafeterias have been rearranged in such a way that the safety distance of 2 meters is maintained between all tables. Often you will only be able to sit alone at a table or in pairs at most.

  • Please use only the designated seats and leave all tables and chairs in their places!
  • Please only stay in the Mensa/Cafeteria as long as necessary for eating - and please avoid working in our facilities.
  • Please avoid going to the Mensa/Cafeteria in groups - no matter if you are a family or share a flat. Firstly, we currently have fewer seats than usually, and secondly, the distance rule could then no longer be respected.
  • For Mensas with an open outdoor area: Please make sure that the necessary distance of 1.5 meters is kept here as well.

We hope for your understanding for the fact that we start with a reduced offer. Every day we offer a variety of dishes, including, a vegan or vegetarian dish; additionally we offer fresh salads (prepared in bowls) as well as desserts, smoothies and a small selection of cakes. For information on the respective offers and opening hours of the individual Mensas and Cafeterias, please consult the website of the respective institution from 25 May onward.

Please note the local regulations regarding the access of guests. Counters for food distribution and cash desks have been adjusted to the situation. Cutlery and trays are handed out together with the food. Please stay in the serving area only as long as necessary and decide on a meal as quickly as possible. The floor markings remind you to keep the distance in the meantime.

The operation of the Mensas and Cafeterias is subject to strict hygienic regulations, not only during Corona times. We do our very best at the moment to ensure that the hygienic standards exceed the normal level.
