For Easter we want you to have something sweet, that's why today there is the recipe for homemade curd cheese rolls:

Show details
  • 500g potatoes
  • 500g curd cheese
  • approx. 150g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 package of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • sugar (depending on how sweet you like it)
  • Cinnamon
  • Raisins (for those who like them)
  • Oil (for frying)
Show details
  • If possible, cook the potatoes the day before and let them cool down. Then press them with a potato press.
  • The next day, mix all the ingredients together. The mixture must have a chewy consistency at the end and should  not stick to your hands  too much. If the 150g of flour is not enough, just add some more.
  • Now form balls that weigh about 80g, put them into the hot pan and flatten them a bit with the turner.
  • As soon as they are golden brown on both sides, you can put them in the oven at 120°C for about 10 minutes.

Enjoy recooking this dish and bon appétit!
