On 26 May, the 14th family breakfast takes place at student restaurant Mensa am Park.
From 9.00 to 11.00 a.m., student parents have the opportunity to talk to people from various organizations and institutions in an informal atmosphere about the questions and problems that studying with children brings about. Studentenwerk Leipzig, the family initiatives of Leipzig’s universities and academies and the City of Leipzig provide advice on studying with children and may even help establish contacts as needed. Furthermore, student parents can get to know each other and a flea market for children’s clothing and toys is organised.
Studentenwerk Leipzig and Leipzig University’s equal opportunities office offer a healthy breakfast buffet for young and old. There will also be a variety of playful opportunities for children: balloon animals, face painting, playing areas as well as drawing and crafts tables.
Entrance to the family breakfast is free for student parents (and their children) of all (!) of Leipzig’s universities and academies. The student card is required as proof.
