Attention artists: The German Studentenwerk is launching its 40th poster competition to mark a special anniversary. Under the theme ‘AI: My Study Buddy’, the competition is seeking creative and critical perspectives on the use of artificial intelligence in everyday student life.
How is AI shaping today’s academic studies?
Is it a helpful learning companion or more of a competitor? Students are invited to bring their visionary ideas to life through creative design and to explore questions relating to learning, research, exams and collaboration.
Ethical considerations are also a key focus: where do the boundaries lie between human creativity and machine assistance, and what does the responsible use of AI look like?
Conditions of participation
The competition is open to students studying graphic design, communication design, visual communication and related subjects who are enrolled at a state or state-recognised university in Germany during the summer semester of 2026.
