Get to know Leipzig and meet new people at the events for international students organised by the Tutors of the Studentenwerk Leipzig!

The events in October at a glance:

• Sächsische Schweiz – 1.10.//8 a.m.
  Registration is needed!
• Follow the tracks of the Peaceful Revolution – 3.10.//3 p.m. Uhr//Augustusplatz (in front of the fountain Mendebrunnen)
  City walk: On the Day of German Unity we will visit the most important historical places of the Peaceful Revolution in the city center. For this tour you need to register. Price: 2 Euros, Registration is needed!
• My first days in Leipzig – 6.10.//5 p.m.//Café der fünf Kontinente

• Welcoming buffet – 7.10//7 p.m.//StukCafé
  Food connects people! – That’s why we are organizing a Welcoming buffet. To make the buffet bigger you could bring a typical food or dish from your country. You have an opportunity to try the cuisine of different countries and meet new people in a very pleasant environment. Afterwards we are going to the welcoming party in Werk 2.
• City Tour – 8.10.//2 p.m.//Augustusplatz (Mendebrunnen)
  We are taking you on a tour around the city center of Leipzig. The tour is in German.
• Oktoberfest – 8.10.//8 p.m.//Studentenclub Stuk
• Cook and meet – 9.10.//4 p.m.//StukCafé
• SpeedFriending – 11.10.//7 p.m.//Studentenclub Stuk
  Do you want to get to know as many new people as possible in a short  time? Then you are at the right place at our Speed Friending. There is no faster way to get to know new people! Afterwards you will have the opportunity to party with your new friends in Stuk.
• Bar Hopping in Leipzig – 13.10.//8 p.m.//Augustusplatz (Mendebrunnen)
• City tour with the tram – 15.10.//1 p.m.//Goethestr. 6
  We are taking you on a city tour with a tram. During the ride you will see the most important sights and places of interest in Leipzig, and the guide will tell you all the interesting facts about them. The registration is needed for the tour. Registration and payment at the Campusservice by Eddie (University at Augustusplatz, Seminargebäude, Universitätsstraße 1), or during our opening hours in our Café der fünf Kontinente, Price: 3 Euros.
• Party at the student dormitory – 15.10.//5 p.m.//Café der fünf Kontinente
  We'll turn the dormitory into a party parade to celebrate with you. Meet us in front of the Сafé.
• Buddybrunch – 16.10.//12 noon//StukCafé
  You already have a Buddy? – Then it is a great possibility to meet other Buddy Pairs at a Brunch. And of course everyone who is also interested in our Buddy Program is welcome. Registration is needed! Price: 3 Euros.
• Völkerschlachtdenkmal (Monument to the Battle of the Nations) – 16.10.//3 p.m.// Stuk
• City rallye – 23.10.//2 p.m.//Augustusplatz (Mendebrunnen)
  Discover Leipzig in a completely different way through our city rally.
