Single parent café for student parents

Invitation to our café for single parents – exchanging ideas and networking while having coffee & cake

Since April the café for single parents is offering all student parents that feel like belonging to the group of single parents the possibility to get involved in a mutual exchange while having coffee and cake and to benefit from the experiences of other single parents. 

Upon request and if necessary, the Social Counselling service is looking forward to organise professional presentations on right of contact, maintenance, financing for single parents and much more. The single parent café is an open meeting point, for this reason no registration is required.

Children are warmly welcome, but please note that there will be no separate care for them. 

The remaining dates for the summer semester are as follows: 

• Wednesday, 26 July, from 3.00 to 5.00 p.m.
• Wednesday, 30 August, from 3.00 to 5.00 p.m.
• Wednesday, 27 September, from 3.00 to 5.00 p.m.
• Wednesday, 25 October, from 3.00 to 5.00 p.m.
• Wednesday, 29 November, from 3.00 to 5.00 p.m.

All students belonging to a college that Studentenwerk Leipzig is responsible for can take part.

The café takes place at the Student Family Center (StuFaz) in the Nürnberger Straße 42, 04109 Leipzig. Please note that the front door is only accessible via stairs. The back door can also be reached with a buggy. We would like to ask you to ring the bell.
