Mensa am Medizincampus has been awarded Gold status in the PETA Mensa Ranking 2026. This year, PETA Germany introduced a new scoring system ranging from 0 to 100 points and awards Gold, Silver, and Bronze ratings. Gold is given to facilities that achieve between 80 and 100 points. The assessment considers the range of vegan dishes, pricing, accessibility and labelling, as well as the strategy for expanding plant-based options.
Mensa am Medizincampus offers vegan meals every day. In addition to changing daily main dishes, the regular menu includes vegan wok dishes, at least one vegan pasta sauce, vegan side dishes, and a salad bar. The Cafeteria also offers vegan wraps, warm vegan cinnamon pastries (Franzbrötchen), and coffee specialties with oat drink.
