As of the coming winter semester, the tutors of Studentenwerk Leipzig invite international students to information evenings at the Stuk-Café once a month. They will be happy to accept suggestions on topics!
The first information event hosted by the tutors on the subject “Graduated from university, now what? – Applying and working in Germany” at Stuk-Café at Nürnberger Straße 42 took place in the end of June. Guest speaker Susann Wagner from the Career Service of Leipzig University provided tips and information on how to find the right job and what you need for an application in Germany. The interested students used the evening and the relaxed atmosphere to ask questions and gather comprehensive information.
As of the next winter semester, the assistance while studying will also be on the agenda of the information evenings, dealing with all the worries and problems concerning international students and their studies. Suggestions on topics are welcome and can be sent by e-mail to efischer@studentenwerk-leipzig.de.
