Mensa am Park Reopens

The Mensa am Park reopenes on a regular basis starting from Monday, 5 October 2020 – just like the Cafeteria Dittrichring. The infection prevention measures in place include hygiene measures and a limited number of seats.

As of Monday, 5 October 2020 the largest Mensa of Studentenwerk Leipzig, Mensa am Park, will be open as usual. From Monday to Friday between 10.45 a.m. and 2.00 p.m., three different menus (a vegan option, pasta and a meat or fish dish) will be available. Due to the hygiene concept, only about 240 seats will be accessible. With the start of the winter semester, the access is possible again via the foyer of the auditorium building of the University of Leipzig. Also the large serving area can be taken back into use.

Cafeteria Dittrichring will also open its doors again on 5 October. Mensa and den Tierkliniken resumes operations on 12 October. The remaining six Mensas of the Studentenwerk as well as Cafeteria im Musikerviertel are already open. The extended opening hours for the start of the new winter semester will apply from Monday, 26 October.
