Interessierte Studierende informieren sich an Infoständen, HTWK Leipzig

The information day "My Studies in Leipzig: Application, Start of Studies and the First Semesters" at the HTWK, originally planned for 18 March 2020, will not take place. The Studentenwerk Leipzig has decided on this in close coordination with the collaborating universities.

First of all, the spread of the coronavirus is increasing. Also, numerous major events are cancelled and schools or cultural institutions are temporary closed. Since it is not clear to the organisers of the information day why a higher risk of infection should only be given from the 1000th participant onwards, the personal protection of visitors and employees is a priority even for smaller events.

We thank you for your understanding. Please also inform other interested students about the cancellation of the information day.

We are trying to postpone the event, but a new date cannot be foreseen at the moment.

In collaboration with universities, academies and student initiatives from Leipzig and the surrounding area, Studentenwerk Leipzig organizes an information event for internationals and refugees who are already studying or are interested in studying  in Leipzig. The event takes place on March 18, 2020 in the foyer of the Niper-building in HTWK Leipzig. From 1.00 to 6.00 p.m. (prospective) students can find out about requirements for entry and course offers preparing students for university. Further there will be workshops and talks on student finance.

Internationals or refugees who are prospective students or studying in their first semester, are confronted with many questions and challenges. What do I have to consider before starting my studies? What programs of study do the different academies and universities offer? How can I finance my studies ? What experiences did other students make? These and more questions can be answered in our information event.
