Studentenwerk Leipzig endeavours to make its website accessible.

This declaration on accessibility applies to www.studentenwerk-leipzig.de.

The legal basis is the Act on Equal Opportunities of Persons with Disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz, BGG), the Sächsisches Inklusionsgesetz (SächsInklusG), the Saxon Act to promote electronic government (SächsEGovG) and the law on the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on barrier-free access to the websites and mobile applications of public bodies (Barrierefreie-Websites-Gesetz, BfWebG)

The benchmark for accessibility is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, which were published as a W3C Recommendation (Web Standard) (criteria of the European standard EN 301 549, version 3.2.1) and the further developed BITV 2.0 (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung).

This website is only partially accessible in accordance with the above-mentioned guidelines.

Non-accessible content:

  • Synchronised subtitles are not available for all recorded videos.
  • Not all documents linked on the website are accessible.
  • Interactive maps cannot be operated via keyboard navigation. (Currently being revised.)
  • The videos are integrated via YouTube. (Currently being revised.)

Enforcement procedure

You have made an enquiry about the accessibility of our website using the contact details above. If no satisfactory solution is found within a reasonable period of time (usually four weeks), you can contact the office of the State Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities (Enforcement Centre) at the Saxon State Chancellery, which is responsible for the enforcement procedure. The Enforcement Centre supports out-of-court dispute resolution when conflicts arise between public bodies in Saxony and users of websites or mobile applications. This arbitration procedure is free of charge. The involvement of legal counsel is not required.
