Sport, movement, and abstract perspectives are at the center of the new photo exhibition by Thea Hildebrandt. The prospective graduate in Communication and Media Studies at Leipzig University has been involved in photography since childhood and combines emotion, dynamics, and creative visual design in her work.
The exhibition brings together two different thematic worlds: On the first floor, the focus is on photographs from the sport of vaulting. As a former competitive athlete, Thea Hildebrandt combines athletic dynamics, team spirit, and aesthetics in her images while also offering an artistic perspective on sports photography. The second floor features more abstract works from her personal photography, where lines, contrasts, and unusual perspectives reinterpret the real world.
The exhibition can be viewed until the end of July 2026 in the corridors of the first and second floors of Studentenwerk Leipzig (Goethestraße 6).
