You can retrieve your Deutschland-Semesterticket for the winter semester 2025/26 from 20 August or 19 September, depending on your university. The ticket from the summer semester 2025 will not be automatically extended, you must reactivate it.
If you have already saved the ticket in the LeipzigMOVE app you can retrieve it there again. If you are newly enrolled or not yet registered you must register in the app via Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) in order to receive the digital ticket. Alternatively, you can collect the ticket as a chip card from an LVB service centre. Existing chip cards must also be reactivated there.

- HMT and HHL students: from 20 August 2025
- Students at Leipzig University, HTWK, HGB, DHSN and iba Leipzig: from 19 September 2025
Note on fee refunds:
A refund of the semester fee for the summer semester 2025 is only possible if the new ticket has not yet been called up. Refunds are not possible after activation.
