Social Services in Times of Corona - the Measures we are Taking

Our Psychosocial Counselling Service is available for you by telephone, studierendenberatung {{ätt}} studentenwerk-leipzig {{punkt}} de (e-mail) or in person.
Individual Counselling (by Appointment) may take place by telephone, video call or if desired and in accordance with the 3G- rules, in person. Appointments can be booked in advance via our appointment booking tool.
The Open Counsultion by video, with prior registration in our online tool, takes place every Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Online workshops on the following topics are held regularly: Stopping the ride on the emotional rollercoaster - workshop on dealing with mood swings, Appearing confident in exams, Homestudying without postponing, Inner peace and resilience even in hard times and Studying at home with child(ren), Speed dating for learning tandems. In accordance with the 2-G- rule we are able to provie individual group offers in presence again. Please get more information on our website.
Our Online Writing Lab takes place weekly every Friday from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
We have compiled detailed guidelines on the following topics in order to help you get through the Corona time well, with a special focusing on mental health.

Starting from April, our Social Counselling Service is available for you by telephone, video, e-mail and in the new Studierenden Service Zentrum (SSZ. Goethestraße 3-5).
Open office hours are currently only offered by telephone. A personal open consultation time is offered on Thursdays only at the Student Family Centre (StuFaz) from 2.00 to 4.00 pm. You can find the office hours on the Social Counselling page.
Short consultation on site on can be booked using our appointment tool. A consultation lasts 20 minutes and allows you to contact us quickly.
Individual consultations by telephone, video, or on-site can be booked via our appointment tool. Short enquiries can be made by e-mail.
If you are thinking about taking a semester off or are currently on a leave of absence and have a working student contract, there are a few things you should consider. Working student contracts, for example, lose their validity in a holiday semester. For individual advice, please contact our Social Counselling Service directly.

The offers for student parents (to-be) that are usually held at the StuFaz have been transformed into outdoor offers. You can find more information on the website of the Student Family Centre StuFaz.
Open office hours always on Thursdays from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. in the StuFaz.

The Kinderladen will reopen for childcare in April. If you need childcare, please register your child! You can find up-to-date information on the Kinderladen website.

Our Student Job Office will be back on site for you in April. All important information is available on our website.

If you have already registered for a job offer via the reservation function, an e-mail is sent out to the job centre automatically. An additional registration is not necessary, but you are required make contact to the respective company or employer.

Legal Assistance is provided by telephone. In urgent matters, on-site consultations can be arranged by telephone from April. The office hours are available on the website.

The SSZ is closed until further notice.
