Renovation work in the student hall of residence

From 01.04.2023 to 29.02.2024, extensive renovation work will take place in the Mannheimer Straße student residence, so the number of rooms available during this period is very limited.

It will be possible to move into the newly renovated rooms from 01.03.2024. With a valid admission or enrolment certificate, you can apply for a room in this hall of residence with immediate effect.

In our hall of residence situated not far from the lake Kulkwitzer See at Mannheimer Straße, students live in single apartments or together in shared flats for 2 or 3 people. This hall of residence also houses a baking kitchen, a rehearsal room for music, a fitness room and the student club “Oase“.

Arrival from the main station

  • take tram line 1 (departs from directly in front of the main station) towards Lausen until the stop 'Stuttgarter Allee' on Ratzelstraße
  • walk straight on in the same direction as the tram
  • turn right after the sports area and keep going until you reach Mannheimer Straße
