Workshop: A pause belongs to music as well - coping with stress and time management for HMT students

There is this huge, seemingly insurmountable pile of tasks, appoinments, rehearsals, applications, performances and all the other important projects. The only thing that seems to be secured is that you will not have any time for yourself and your leisure time during the semester. No time for your family or for relaxation. As soon as this feeling of stress becomes permanent, it may be helpful to take a closer look at this pile.
This is why the Psychosocial Counselling will be offering a workshop for HMT students on the subjects coping with stress and time management in May.
The workshop will deal with strategies to overcome stress, smart time management, mental biases, inner demands and possibilites for relaxation. The exchange of opinions between the participating students is going to play an important role.
Appointments and registration:
If you are interested, please register via our online appointment tool.
Workshop: Performing confidently - dealing with stage fright

Performance anxiety is a widespread phenomenon among musicians. Stomach pains, clammy and shaky hands and a shaky voice: These and more symptoms are often accompanied by the fear of embarrassing oneself in front of an audience. This workshop is aimed at HMT students who suffer from stage fright. In two sessions, different strategies will be discussed to perform more confidently and to use stage fright for an optimal performance.
The sessions build on each other and should be attended both times if possible. The sessions will focus on emotional, mental and behavioural ways of overcoming anxiety.
+++ The workshop will be paused for now. If you are interested, please send us an email. +++
