We are still there for the students!
Despite the pandemic, Studentenwerk Leipzig keeps on offering services in all fields - but with some restrictions.
We are doing our best to prevent the Corona virus from spreading!
All services offered by the Studentenwerk Leipzig have been adapted to the current hygiene and safety regulations and appropriate measures have been taken, rules of conduct have been established and communicated.
No matter if in our cafeterias, in the student halls of residence or in personal contact with employees of the Studentenwerk Leipzig - we take protection against Corona seriously! Special hygiene concepts have been developed for all facilities to ensure a maximum of safety for students and the employees of the Studentenwerk Leipzig.

Instructions for Entry from risk areas
Due to the current situation regarding the corona virus, there is a mandatory Corona Quarantine Ordinance in Saxony. This regulation specifies who has to go into quarantine after entering Saxony. Before (re-)entering Saxony, you are required to get informed about the quarantine regulations currently valid. Depending on recent developments, risk areas are designated. After (re-)entering Saxony from one of these risk areas, you must go directly into quarantine. When in quarantine, you should make sure to inform yourself on a daily basis about the relevant news.The currently valid version can be found on the web site of the Free State of Saxony:
Fines of up to € 25,000 can be imposed for non-compliance or violations in connection with the above-mentioned ordinance.
If you have to go into quarantine after your arrival, please contact the local health department to find out about the necessary measures. Also, please make sure to inform your housing officer and caretaker.
