The Center for Social Services (CSS) at Gutenbergplatz unites various services offered by Studentenwerk Leipzig for students in special social situations under one roof. The services offered by the CSS range from a childcare facility for students‘ children to Social Counselling and Psychosocial Counselling for students to places at halls of residence for students with child(ren), impaired students and international students.

On the ground floor and basement of the building at Gutenbergplatz 4 and in a newly built house on the premises
135 places assigned to children of students as a priority

Social counseling and psychosocial counseling

Social Counselling and Psychosocial Counselling by Studentenwerk takes place at this address

One part of the building at Gutenbergplatz was converted for use as special living facilities
Altogether 57 places (two-room apartments for students with child(ren), two-room apartments for impaired students as well as apartments for international students and PhD students

To get to the CSS, take the number 15 tram (to Meusdorf) from the main station and get off at Gutenbergplatz or take the number 4 (to Stötteritz) or number 7 tram (to Sommerfeld) from the main station and get off at Johannisplatz.
