Changed opening hours
Our Cafeteria im Musikviertel is reopening. From 21 June we will be open as follows:
- Monday-Friday 9.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.
Please keep in mind that our offer is currently still limited.
As of Monday, 21 June, you can once again enjoy our little lunch offer in our Mensas. Please make sure to follow the hygiene rules in our outdoor seating areas as well as inside the facilities. The compliance with the current regulations is necessary as the public health department otherwise may withdraw the permission to offer food on site again. Therefore, please keep the distances and wear a FFP2 or medical mask without an exhalation valve. Furthermore, we would like to ask you to use the seating areas exclusively for eating and not to linger after finishing your meals.
Please also note that contact tracking is required inside our facilities. Contact tracking is possible by analogue means or via a QR code (using the Corona Warn App).
The Cafeteria im Musikviertel was renovated completely in summer 2016. This is the place at the GWZ, opposite the Bibliotheca Albertina, where students of HMT, HGB, Lepzig University, or HTWK meet for coffee or yummy snacks.
